The Story Behind Wine, Women and Shoes
Wine, Women and Shoes is a major fundraising event for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Non-profit organizations such as Second Harvest rely on large events like this to raise money for them throughout the year. Individual donations help, but the majority of their budgets come from event fundraisers. The premise behind Wine, Women and Shoes is a natural fundraising opportunity: put on a glitzy fashion show with the season’s latest designs from a prominent designer, offer the latest fashion accessories for sale from local vendors, host a charity auction for must-have gifts and travel, serve fine wines throughout the event and crown an annual “Soul Man” as the culmination.
It’s easy to understand why a fun, upbeat event such as this would be a hit. I had the pleasure of attending the 6th annual Wine, Women and Shoes event because of my relationship with Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. Winnie Palmer Hospital was a sponsor of the 2016 event and I attended to provide freelance photography coverage on behalf of the hospital sponsor. Winnie Palmer Hospital was then able to use my photography and videography on their website and social media to promote the event and their generous sponsorship.

Let's Chat
You know what I love? I love chatting with like-minded professionals about almost everything related to marketing & technology (and especially where the two intersect). You know what I don't like? Alligators and people asking me to buy something from them.
